National Skills Contest concludes

(Manama) – The third edition of the National Skills Contest has concluded.

Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi patronized the ceremony and honored the winners.
A total of 220 students, employees and Bahraini job-seekers competed in 17 various skills during the five-day competition which opened last Sunday (March 26).

Based on results of this edition, candidates will be chosen to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain in the 44th WorldSkills Competition 2107, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates in October.

Addressing the final ceremony, Dr. Al-Nuaimi stressed the importance of the competition, which was organized in cooperation with public and private enterprises.

He distributed medals to the winners in different competitions, congratulating them on their outstanding performance. He also honoured the parties which sponsored the contest, hailing their dedicated efforts.
