Qatar proposes to host World Snooker Championship

(Doha) – Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation has applied to host the World Snooker Championship, for the first time in the country’s history.
The federation’s Secretary-General Mohamed Salem Al Nuaimi said that they proposed hosting the championships on November 20-30 in Doha. He added that Doha will host the general assembly of the International Billiard and Snooker Federation and the election of a new board. This will take place during the championship and will lead to a strong attendance level.
