Abu Dhabi Endurance Festival concludes

(Abu Dhabi) – The 2016 Abu Dhabi Endurance Festival 2016 concluded with a 120-kilometre race at the Emirates International Endurance Village in al-Wathba.
Emirati rider Hamad Obaid Al Kaabi, from the MRM stables, finished first in 04:17:45, followed in second place by Italy’s Irene Avitabile, from al-Wathba Stables (04:18:37) and Emirati Saif Ahmed Al Mazrouei, from the MRM Stables, (04:24:54) Some 118 male and female jockeys from the UAE and Arab and friendly countries, participated in the rides held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
Adnan Sultan Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, organisers of the event, Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival, presented the top six winners of the ride with a four-wheel drive vehicle each.
