Arab meeting on reviewing anti terror laws held

(Cairo) – The UAE has participated in the first meeting of the joint committee of experts and representatives of the Ministries of Justice and Interior of the Arab countries, which began at the headquarters of the general secretariat of the Arab League to review The Arab Convention on the Suppression of Terrorism, and the Arab Strategy in this respect.
The UAE delegation to the meeting was headed by Al Dhoori Turki, representative of the Ministry of Interior. It also included other two representatives of the ministry, Hazza Al-Kaabi and Mohamed Al Zaabi.
The meeting aims to examine the anti-terrorism legislation, including the Arab Model of Anti-Terrorism Law and strategy for combating terrorism.
