(Manama) – Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training, Brigadier Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, inspected the site of the GCC joint security exercise “Arabian Gulf Security 1” to be held in Bahrain at the end of the year.
He was briefed on the preparations for holding the exercise, and inspected the buildings and establishments of the field area and equipment of the administration team required to achieve the success of the exercise.
He said the event is an opportunity to exchange expertise among GCC security forces. It aims to provide training on dealing with various security situations, including countering terrorist acts.
A number of workshops and lectures will be held to boost cooperation among the participating forces, he added.
