(Manama) – His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, Honorary Chairman of the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF), assured that the Kingdom of Bahrain is well capable of hosting the BRAVE International Combat Week and the World Championships Amateur Mixed Martial Arts, which will be held in the period of (12-19) November.
Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and organized by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), in partnership with the BMMAF, and in cooperation with the Media Office of HH Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
His Highness said that Bahrain has become an example in hosting various international tournaments and providing the best organization possible. He added that this hosting will confirm Bahrain’s status regarding the proper organization and high capabilities it possesses, he also added that the International Federation of Mixed Martial Arts is confident that Bahrain will organize the world championship in the best manner possible, pointing out that His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa will also enrich the championship, being a big supporter of MMA and other sports in general.
His Highness pointed out that the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the Bahrain Olympic Committee have harnessed all available capabilities for an ideal hosting through continuous communication with the Higher Organizing Committee. He also reiterated his full confidence in the capabilities of the Bahraini youth working in the championship, wishing them all the success.
