(Manama) – His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has asserted that Bahrain is the land of creativity and intellectuals, noting that the giving of Bahraini men and women has entitled them to be role models in various fields.

HRH Premier stressed that the honouring of Bahraini national work pioneers is a national duty as they have contributed, thanks to their dedication and giving, to advancing the nation, preserving Bahrain’s bright history and helping to promote awareness on the importance of creativity among members of the society.

While receiving senior Royal Family members here today, HRH the Prime Minister reviewed a number of issues related to the national history, and the role played by the forefathers in consolidating the kingdom’s status and placing it on the progress path.

HRH the Prime Minister stressed the need to adopt creative initiatives to highlight the kingdom’s rich heritage and link it with its history so that it remains engraved in the minds of the successive generations and stands witness to the kingdom’s status as a long-standing beacon of culture and civilisation.

While reviewing regional and global developments, HRH the Prime Minister stressed that stepping up bilateral and collective cooperation among countries of the region is the best means to safeguard the region against the economic and security challenges facing them.

In this regard, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of exchanged visits among leaders in discussing ways to push cooperation forward, which, he said, will achieve the common interests of all and make the region a role model for development and progress within a secure and stable atmosphere.
