(Dubai) – The 23rd edition of the Dubai International Boat Show opens tomorrow, with AED 1 billion worth of boats on display and a wide range of activities including thrilling water sports, exciting prize giveaways and live entertainment.
Tens of thousands of visitors from over 120 countries are set to stream through the gates of the region’s largest marine leisure exhibition, held from 3 – 7 March 2015 at the Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi .
Dubai International Boat Show visitors will be delighted by 430 boats on land and water, as well as products and services from more than 800 international and regional brands and companies exhibiting at the show across the show’s sectors.
This year’s Dubai International Boat Show also features new sections in the Outdoor Display for DIBS Sailing, DIBS Fishing, and DIBS Water Sports as the popularity of these activities continues to soar in the region. The Marine Talks zone gives visitors the opportunity to pick up tips and hear stories from global sailing, fishing and water sports experts.
Now even easier than ever to attend, free parking is available at Nakheel Gateway Tower, with direct tram transfer from Nakheel to Mina Seyahi Station every six minutes, or free shuttle buses to DIMC. Alternatively visitors can go to Skydive Dubai where an improved service with increased frequency will allow transfer by water buses for free with their DIBS ticket.
Organisers have also been working together with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Dubai Police to ensure a smooth flow of traffic in the area. A newly built, dedicated road for VIPs and Majlis guests is available ahead of the main entrance, which will lead directly to the VIP and Majlis parking area and provide easy access to the show.
