(Abu Dhabi) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, received Cho Tae-yong, 1st Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Korea.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the Korean Minister and wished him good luck and success. He also highlighted that the UAE, led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is keen on enhancing bilateral relations with South Korea into wider horizons to meet the aspirations of the two friendly peoples and countries.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the growing relations in the energy, renewable energy, trade and investment fields. They also exchanged views on the latest regional and global developments.
On his part, Cho Tae-yong expressed his country’s desire to enhance trade and investment exchange with the UAE as well as boosting the strategic partnership between the two countries. He also indicated that he has exchanged views with H.H. Sheikh Abdullah on a host of issues of mutual concerns.
