(Abu Dhabi) – Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, has received Lundeg Purevsuren, Foreign Minister of Mongolia, in his office at the ministry.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the UAE and Mongolia and ways of enhancing them in various fields. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments and other issues of common interest.
Dr. Anwar Gargash expressed the UAE’s interest in developing its relations with Mongolia, praising the co-operation between the two countries in international forums.
The Mongolian minister highlighted investment prospects in his country, and expressed his thanks to the UAE for opening an embassy in the Mongolian capital, Ulaanbaatar, which he said contributes to the strengthening of bilateral relations.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Director of the Department of East Asia and Pacific at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
