Health Minister attends World Health Assembly

(Geneva) – Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh attended the 70th session of the World Health Assembly, which will run until May 31 at the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), housed at the Palais des Nations.

Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva Dr. Youssef Bucheeri attended the session, along with the ministry’s delegation and other officials.

The World Health Assembly is the decision-making body of the World Health Organisation (WHO). Russian Health minister was elected as president of the 70th World Health Assembly, five deputies and heads of the two main committees.
