Kuwaiti Amir receives Bahraini oil minister

(Kuwait) – As part of the directives of the Wise Leadership towards bolstering the joint cooperation between GCC countries in various domains, a delegation led by Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa has visited the Amir of Kuwait HH Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah, at Al Bayan Palace.

During the visit, the minister conveyed to HH the Amir of Kuwait the greetings and good wishes of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa the Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.

The two sides reviewed joint cooperation in oil and gas fields between Bahrain and Kuwait.

The minister also visited the Crown Prince of Kuwait HH Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jabir Al Sabah, and the Prime Minister HH Shaikh Jabir Al Mubarak Al Sabah, for the purpose of holding a high level meeting to review establishing key agreements related to the development of the planned Aromatics Production Complex (APC) in Bahrain.

Present at the meeting from the Kuwaiti side was Deputy Premier and Acting Minister of Finance & Oil Anas Khalid Al Saleh, and from the Bahraini side Bahrain’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Shaikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bapco’s Member of the Board of Directors Dr. Dawood Nassif, Nogaholding Advisor Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and Bapco’s GM Major Engineering Projects Abdul Jabbar Abdul Karim.
