(Manama) – Day festivities continue to attract huge crowds of visitors and tourists, mainly from neighbouring countries, at the City Centre Bahrain (CCB). As part of the Kingdom’s 45th National Day the CCB has organized traditional entertainment activities like the Ardah dance and Liwa. Bahraini flags and treats are being distributed to the visitors of the mall.

An added family entertainment attraction that is organised by the CCB is the Winter Tale campaign for this holiday. The third in the series of the Winter Tale Campaign: Alice in Wonderland that coincides with the National Day celebrations of the Kingdom of Bahrain runs until January 10, said Duaij Al Rumaihi, Senior Mall Manager, CCB.

“We are proud to announce that just like every year we will be celebrating Bahrain’s 45th National Day too with traditional entertainment, decorations and interactive activities for visitors of all ages and nationalities from December 16 to 19,” he said.

Al Rumaihi said the added attraction for the visitors will be the Alice in Wonderland. “In 2014 we had Nutcracker, in 2015 we had Cinderella and this year we choose the theme Alice in Wonderland. “

“The reason, we chose this theme is because of its popularity among many generations and the story itself is very attractive and it opens up the imagination of our children. This is once again a popular story and we had the whole Galleria area decorated according to its theme,” he said

“We are expecting huge crowds to visit this set up of one of the popular tales. I, myself am very impressed with the set up where we have the new moving animatronic characters here. Also we will have characters roaming in the mall for the meet and greet with visitor of the mall on 20 to 23 December.

Al Rumaihi said that they will have a cookie decoration competition taking place from which the proceeds will go towards one of their local charities. He said that all these events and activities during this month is part of the family entertainment for the visitors and residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as it is the festive season.

“We are looking forward to welcome our friends from the Eastern Province to mall activities come and join us as always and be part of the activities here in Bahrain. The visitors to Alice in Wonderland will enjoy exciting photo opportunities and get a chance to pick a leaf from the Tree of Luck to win instant prizes.”

Alice and her fun companions such as the Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts will be roaming around the mall for a meet and greet session on December 20 – 23.
