PM Supports people with Special Needs

(Dubai) – Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has ordered a grant of Dh6 million to enable people with special needs to participate in local, regional and international sports events.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid gave his directives as he attended the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Powerlifting World Championships which attracted attract some 430 male and female athletes from 65 countries. The competition, running from 5-11 April 2014, is being organised at the Dubai Club for the Disabled.
While there, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid toured the facilities at the club, inspected the halls and met with a number of participants. He expressed his delight at meeting with the participants.
