President Chairs Supreme Federal Council Meeting

(Al Mushrif) – President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan chaired the Supreme Federal Council meeting held at Diyafa Palace. The meeting was attended by the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H. H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah, H. H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Ajman, H. H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Fujairah, H. H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council member and ruler of Umm al-Qaiwain and H. H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Ras al-Khaimah.
During the meeting, Sheikh Khalifa and the Rulers reviewed various achievements over the last 41 years since the inception of the Union. The President and the Rulers exchanged the greetings on the occasion of UAE’s 41st national day anniversary, stressing that the celebration of this great occasion “constitutes an important momentum to further strengthen the Union and achieve more aspirations of UAE people.”
