(Fiji) – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, has met with Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, Fijian Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. During the meeting, both sides reviewed bilateral relations of cooperation and friendship, and ways of developing and expanding them, and discussed new horizons for cooperation and joint investment for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and his counterpart also discussed a number of current regional and international developments, and issues of common interest.
After welcoming Sheikh Abdullah and his accompanying delegation, Minister Kubuabola commended the UAE for its efforts in supporting Fiji through renewable energy projects being implemented by Masdar, which he said reflects the UAE’s keenness to strengthen its friendly relations with Fiji and countries of the Pacific Islands.
During his visit, Sheikh Abdullah also met with Sayed-Khaiyum, the Attorney-General of Fiji, to discuss cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
