(Dubai) – H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and President of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), received Wang Lihong, President of the China Development Bank (CDB). The meeting explored prospects of joint financial and investment cooperation in light of CDB’s plan to launch its regional head office at the DIFC as its first branch in the Middle East region.
Sheikh Maktoum welcomed the CDB’s move, expressing his confidence that the two sides would have promising opportunities that would support local economy and serve CDB-DIFC’s mutual interests. A number of senior DIFC officials attended the meeting.
