(Abu Dhabi) – Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received Latvian Prime Minister, Valdis Dombrovskis at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.E. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Trade H.H. Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs H.E. Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs H.E. Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Financial Affairs H.E. Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State H.E. Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Director of Dubai Ruler’s Office H.E. Lt. General Musabbah Rashid Al Fattan, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality H.E. Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and non-resident Latvian Ambassador to the UAE.
Prime Minister Dombrovskis delivered to Sheikh Mohammed a letter from President of Latvia, Andris Berzins to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on bilateral relations between the two countries.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed his Latvian counterpart and wished him a successful visit that will add to the good relations between the two countries. Dombrovskis expressed his appreciation for the visit which provides an opportunity to take a closer look at the enormous achievements of the UAE.
