Sheikh Mohammed receives Iraqi PM

(Dubai) – Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the Prime Minister of Iraq Dr. Haider Al Abadi in the presence of Deputy Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in Dubai.
Sheikh Mohammed reviewed with Al Abadi a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, as well as ways to enhance bilateral relations and increase cooperation between the two countries in different fields.
Welcoming the Iraqi Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation, Sheikh Mohammed renewed the support of the UAE government and its people for the Iraqi people in their endeavour to rebuild their country after defeating terrorism and armed groups which had wreaked havoc on the Iraqi infrastructure, economy and the social fabric among different segments of the society.
