UAE-Poland economic ties discussed

(Warsaw) – UAE Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri has discussed with the Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Janusz Piechocinski, the need to implement the resolutions of the second meeting of the Joint Economic Committee, held in April in Abu Dhabi, with the aim to boost investment, increase trade exchange and cooperation in the areas of technology and research in a way that serves the innovation strategy.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s visit, was attended by Mohammed Ali Al Abbar, Chairman of Emaar, Asim Mirza Al Rahma, UAE Ambassador to Poland, and Adam Krzymowski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the UAE.
They discussed ways to upgrade the joint economic cooperation in all fields and explore the potential of both countries to strengthen cooperation in major sectors, especially in areas of infrastructure, trade, industry, renewable energy, agriculture, SME projects and innovation.
Al Mansouri commended the visit of the UAE Vice President to Poland, which reflects the interest of the two countries to strengthen relations and boost development in both countries.
