UAE, Portugal Sign Economic Cooperation Agreement

UAE, Portugal Sign Economic Cooperation Agreement(Abu Dhabi) – Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Portuguese Foreign Minister, Paulo Portas have signed an agreement for economic cooperation between two countries and a memorandum of understanding for bilateral cooperation in the field of health.
The agreements aims to organize and develop cooperation between the two countries in various economic fields and promote cooperation in the sectors of trade and industry, agriculture, transport, information, communication technology, tourism and small and medium-scale enterprises.
During the meeting and signing ceremony, that were held on the fringes of the 3rd Sir Bani Yas Forum, they also discussed bilateral ties between UAE and Portugal and explored ways for bolstering them.
