(Abu Dhabi) – The selection by Forbes of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in its annual ranking of the World’s Most Powerful People is not born out of a vacuum, but it is because of his far-sighted vision, and tremendous, tireless work that catapulted the UAE to the highest rankings, locally, regionally and internationally, when it comes to achievements, said Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy.
“The robust, thriving UAE economy stands as a testimony and mark of distinction in HH’s golden record of achievements,” Al Mansouri said in remarks on the milestone achievement for the UAE leader, noting that the 11 years of his HH’s rule was characterised by headlines of empowerment, excellence and development of the Emirati human being.
“Whatever description we give him, it will be far less than what he deserves. President Khalifa has completed the drive of inclusive development launched by the architect of the Union, the late founding father, Sheikh Zayed, and his fellow rulers. He is really the best successor to a great predecessor,” he said.
Al Mansouri said the loyal UAE people look to HH with pride and esteem for his tremendous efforts to bring about welfare and prosperity to them.
“His generosity and benevolence go beyond the UAE boundaries to all Arab and Muslim brothers. As a symbol and advocate of peace and love, the UAE, under his wise leadership, has become an oasis of peace and security, attracting creative minds from all corners of the earth,” he concluded.
